A cattle rancher is killed. and it’s just the story reporter Henry Dillonsworth thinks will help rescue him from this backwater town. But his ex-girlfriend. Joan. the local television news anchor. also wants the scoop. Their race for the story takes a turn for the weird when another rancher dies. rumors abound that the men were killed by their own cows. and an obsessed network newswoman descends on the town.
